The Challenge
This modern single-storey home in Armstrong Creek was built with a genuinely varied exterior — weatherboard-style cladding, rendered sections, exterior trim, a front entry portico and a white picket fence, all designed to work together as one clean, contemporary streetscape.
The real challenge wasn't any single surface, it was making all of them read as part of the same considered design. Cladding, render, trims, entry features and fencing each behave differently under paint, and the goal was a result where none of those differences show — just sharp lines and an even finish throughout.

Scope of Work
Our Approach
A two-person painting team completed the work, with careful preparation and consistent application across every painted surface, from the cladding down to the fence line.
Cladding, render, trims, the portico and the fence were all prepared ahead of painting, giving each surface the right foundation for a clean finish.
Windows, paths, gardens and fixtures around the property were protected before any paint went on, keeping the finished job clean throughout.
The weatherboard-style cladding and exterior trim were painted using a premium exterior paint system, chosen to handle Australian conditions.
The front entry portico and other architectural details were finished with the same attention to sharp lines and even coverage as the main cladding.
The front fence was painted to complement the home's overall appearance, carrying the same clean finish through to the street.

Common Questions
Modern homes often combine cladding, render, trims and other architectural details in a single facade. Painting each of these consistently, in colours that work together, is what makes the exterior read as one cohesive design rather than a collection of mismatched surfaces.
Matching or complementing the fence colour to the home's exterior helps tie the whole property together visually, particularly for homes with a clean, contemporary streetscape where the fence is one of the first things visitors see.
Protecting surrounding areas typically means covering or masking off surfaces like windows, paths, gardens and fixtures that aren't being painted, so the finished result is clean without needing extensive touch-ups afterward.
It comes down to careful preparation, masking clean lines between different colours and surfaces, and applying paint consistently across each element, whether that's weatherboard-style cladding, rendered sections, trims or entry features.
A premium exterior paint system is formulated to handle Australian weather conditions, helping a newer home's exterior stay looking sharp and protected for longer, rather than needing attention again after just a few years.
The Result
The completed project delivered a bright, modern exterior with genuinely improved street appeal. Rather than the cladding, render, trims, portico and fence reading as separate elements, the finished home presents as one coordinated design from the footpath.
The finish is also built for the long run — a durable exterior paint system designed to withstand Australian weather conditions, so the home continues to present well well beyond the day the job was finished. For homeowners elsewhere in Armstrong Creek with a similarly varied exterior, it's a good example of what's achievable when every surface is treated as part of one plan rather than painted in isolation.
